The American Dream, still alive?

If you work harder, can you get ahead?

ABC did a poll…

One question…If you had children , would you wish your children would become congressman?

25% said yes.

Congress was once an honored position, not elite, but as a service to ones nation ensuring life, liberty and prosperity continues. What happened? The American Dream has become a reflection, where one laments at what could have, or should have been, but won’t be. Is this the hope and change Americans had in mind? I doubt it. 52% of Americans thinking the American Dream “is still alive or possible”, is not a very good percentage.
